G7’s Critical Mineral Action Plan

The G7’s Critical Mineral Action Plan (CMAP) is a step in the right direction, recognizing, as it does, the importance of standards, mobilizing capital, and investing in partnerships and innovation. Building off commitments reached at previous G7, the CMAP is a vital signal, but action must follow if allied democracies are to develop critical mineral and rare earth element supply chain security. The challenges are well identified, the time for action is well past due.
