USGS Seeks Comment on 2025 Critical Minerals List to Guide U.S. Mineral Supply Chain Policy

USGS has released for comment the 2025 Critical Minerals List, proposing 54 mineral commodities.
Minerals are deemed “critical” based on their importance to U.S. economic or national security, supply chain vulnerabilities, and essential role in manufacturing.
The comment period provides stakeholders an opportunity to shape the Final Critical Minerals List, which will guide U.S. policy and investment decisions.
